Comfy Work From Home Attire

As we know, there are different work from home philosophies out there. While some people need to set up an actual office environment, others can carry on quite well from their dining room table. The same holds true for work-from-home clothing. There are some people who need to get dressed in “real clothes” in order to feel more alert and productive as if they were in their actual office building. For others, just being comfy is good enough for them.

It appears that the remote learning and remote work situation is not going anywhere any time soon. Whether you need some work-from-home outfit inspiration or are just looking for some new loungewear items, I’ve put together some ideas for an at-home wardrobe that is both casual and stylish while making you feel comfortable wearing it standing up during a zoom call.

Comfy Pants

I’ve been living in my leggings and jogger pants for 6+ months now. They’ve become the workhorse of my comfy attire collection. It’s been nice having loose and easy to throw on pieces that I can put on in the morning after my workouts, and I love that they’re a step up from my exercise leggings. If you need some new comfy bottoms, check out my curated selections below. I think you just might find a style that you’ll want to have in your closet.

Comfy, Stylish T-Shirts

Everyone needs a comfy stylish tee or two in their closet. I have quite a few that are in constant rotation. They’re easy to move around in and have become an important staple for me these last few months because I can easily dress them up with a statement necklace or by layering a cardigan over them. What I really like about these four options is that they have a “dressier”, more unique cut then a standard tee.

Cute, Comfy Shirts That Dress Up Your Top Half

Many people are still not going into the office. Fortunately, we have been able to join meetings and conduct business on Zoom calls. Since our top half is the only thing that shows on a Zoom call, having some cute tops that are also comfy are items that we all need to have in our closets. Heck! I could have pajama bottoms on my bottom half for all they know but my top half looks work appropriate!

Comfy Options For Your Feet

Who sees your feet anyway while working from home? No one. Comfy slippers and socks have really become essential items for everyone during this time. I love the Emu slippers below. They’re so comfy and trust me on this - your feet will love them! Elizabeth Reid makes some really cute socks. I chose to add the bottom pair of socks not because they go with so many things in my closet but because they’re bright and colorful. These are sure to add some light to your day and make you smile. There are other color combos to choose from as well.

As we navigate our “new normal” I’m trying to adapt in the only way I know how. Finding an intersection between at-home comfort and fashion has been a new challenge that I have enjoyed taking on. I’m looking for the silver linings whereever I can find them, friends! I hope y’all are enjoying your first days of fall. Feel free to share any at-home fashion items that you have been sporting during COVID.

xx
