Holiday Gift Guide 2019
Hey y’all! ’Tis officially the holiday season, and whether you celebrate 🎄Christmas, ✡️Chanukah or something in between, the gift giving season is in full swing! I find holiday gift guides to be super helpful this time of year and full of great ideas. I’ve assembled some of my favorite items that are perfect for him, for her, for teens and young adults, for the host and hostess and also for kids. Gifts For Him
What do you buy for the guy who has everything? Or the guy who is hard to buy for? In both cases I always opt for something that has a practical application or use. Here are a few ideas that I consider my “go-to guy gifts”. The men in your life are all unique, so think about how they live their life and what they enjoy doing in their spare time to customize your gift choice.
Gifts For Her
Maybe it’s just me, but I always find it easier to shop for women. Maybe because I am one, or maybe because I feel that there are more products produced that are geared towards women. Whatever the case may be I have included some products on my list “for her” that I personally love, as well as some items that I love to gift to other people. Consider this my “Barbara’s Favorite Things” list (watch out Oprah!).
Gifts For Teens and Young Adults
Similar to shopping for men, I find that buying for teens and young adults is best accomplished when you buy items that are practical and fit their lifestyle. At the end of the day teens and young adults most likely need more “things” than any other group…so you really can’t go wrong!
Gifts For Kids
Shopping for kids is probably the most difficult category for me because it’s been a looong time since I had young kids in the house. With the arrival of my first grandchild this past September I anticipate by this time next year I’m going to have a blackbelt in kid shopping skills! In the meantime I have crowd sourced some of my dear friends who have young grandchildren to see what they recommend.
Hostess Gifts For The Holidays
December is a such a joyous season filled with dinners, cocktails and holiday parties. If you have been invited to a dinner or a party, and you’d like to bring your host or hostess a gift, I have put together some ideas to get you through the season!
